Fresh pasta: how to cook it in no time.

We all have days when we’re so pressed for time to make lunch that we actually Google “Quick pasta recipe”. Here’s an article to save in your favourites for the next time-starved occasion.

Interestingly enough, fresh filled pasta can also be rustled up in a flash: you can save time without sacrificing the quality of the ingredients. Making your lunch break seem a little longer.

The procedure couldn’t be easier: simply open the packet of filled pasta, place directly in a non-stick pan and add a glass of water. Cook over a moderate heat, stirring occasionally, and wait until the pasta has absorbed all the water. Only then add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and a sprinkling of parmigiano reggiano cheese. Lunch is served!

This cooking method has two advantages: not only does it let you serve up a tasty, nourishing dish even when you’re pressed for time, but it keeps the texture of the pasta just right.
